TO WHOM ARE THESE SERVICES OFFERED?
The Early Intervention services are provided to children birth - 3yrs. who have challenges that might hinder their ability to grow and learn. We work with children who may have Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Speech and Language Delays, Seizure Disorder, other medical conditions or educational concerns. Many of the children we serve are at risk of needing special services to attend school, participate in the community and work.

| HOW ARE THE SERVICES WE PROVIDE OFFERED?
Our services are provided in a seven parish region. Our therapists and social workers drive to what we call the child’s natural environment which is where the child lives, plays and/or interacts with caregivers such as the home or child care center. They work with the child and the family or caregiver to enhance the child’s growth and development.

|
| Studies show Early intervention reduces the number of people that have to live in institutions, reduces the number of families who disintegrate due to economical hardships and stressors that arise in raising a child with exceptional needs, and increases the number of families that are able to keep their jobs and raise their children with challenges in growth and learning.
